IFC Building Models
IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) layers display detailed building models imported from BIM software. The style editor lets you control visibility per floor and adjust the model appearance.
Model information
The style editor header shows:
- Building name
- IFC schema version
- Total element count
Opacity
Adjust the overall transparency of the building model (0–100%).
X-ray mode
Toggle X-ray mode to make the building semi-transparent, letting you see through walls and floors. This is useful for inspecting interior layouts or overlapping elements.
Storey visibility
Each building floor is listed with its name and elevation in metres. Use the checkboxes to show or hide individual storeys.
This is useful for:
- Viewing a single floor plan in isolation
- Comparing different levels of a multi-storey building
- Hiding underground levels to focus on above-ground structure
Element type visibility
Per-element-type filtering (e.g. showing only walls, hiding slabs) is coming soon. A preview of this feature is visible in the style editor but not yet active.
