Decision Journal
The Decision Journal is a read-only activity feed showing all actions performed within a project, helping teams track who did what and when.
Opening the journal
Click the Journal button in the toolbar overflow menu (three dots icon).
What it shows
The journal lists up to 200 of the most recent project events in reverse chronological order. It covers project and scenario lifecycle events, share link actions, and template activity.
Tracked event categories include:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Project | Project created, project opened |
| Scenario | Scenario created, updated, deleted, activated |
| Share | Share link created, deleted, expiry extended |
| Template | Template seeded |
Each entry shows:
- Action type — a short label describing what happened (for example, "Scenario Created")
- Details — the name of the entity involved, where available
- User — the name of the team member who performed the action
- Timestamp — the date and time the action occurred
Filtering
Use the dropdown at the top of the journal to filter entries by action type. For example, you can show only scenario events to review how a scenario evolved, or only share events to audit who created or removed public links. The dropdown is populated dynamically from the actions present in the loaded entries.
Exporting
Click the download icon in the panel header to export the currently displayed entries as a spreadsheet-compatible CSV file. If a filter is active, only the filtered entries are exported.
The CSV includes these columns: timestamp, user, action, and details. The filename is journal-YYYY-MM-DD.csv using today's date.
The journal does not update in real time. Click the Refresh button to load the latest activity.
